Plenty of outfits appear the week after a hurricane, work out of a rented truck, and are gone by the time you notice the stump is still there. We live and work in Palm Beach County every month of the year, which is exactly why we are useful in the weeks that matter.

Pre-season storm prep
This is the work that actually saves money. Done in spring, on your schedule, at normal rates.
Canopy thinning
A dense canopy catches wind like a sail. Thinning lets air pass through instead of levering the root plate out of the ground.
Hazard limb removal
Deadwood, cracked unions, and anything hanging over a roof, a car, or a power drop comes off first.
Structure clearance
Branches pulled back off shingles, screens, fences, and the service line so nothing has leverage on your house.

What people ask about storm work
When should I get trees trimmed?
Late winter through spring. Ahead of June, on a normal schedule, at a normal price. Waiting until a storm is named means you are in line with everyone else.
Will insurance cover the removal?
Usually only if the tree hit something covered. Preventive trimming is almost never covered, which is another reason to do it while it is cheap. Confirm how they advise on this
Do you take non-local storm work?
Our home is Palm Beach County and that is who we take care of first. Confirm whether they travel for storm work
How do I get on the priority list?
Be a customer before the storm. Anyone we have done work for gets contacted ahead of new calls when the phones light up.
